Hi there! I am Melissa Fox owner/operator of Altered Images in Bentley Alberta. I am a certified master nail tech since 2005 and a certified educator since 2016. I enjoy the challenges of the world of nail art and my designs are always hand drawn and not stamped on. I use only the best quality of gels and my nails are always sculpted no tips are used. Aside from nails I am a certified nose and ear piercer using the Inverness system which uses totally disposable cartridges to insure cleanliness. In April of 2022 I achieved a certificate in tiny tattoos that I have added to my list of services!
I was renting a room doing nails at the salon for about 3 years prior to when I purchased the salon in January of 2019 after it came up for sale. I have enjoyed being a business owner in the town of Bentley and getting to know the little community and all it has to offer.
I am a mom of two grown children, a son and a daughter who have families of their own making me a grandma of 5 beautiful grandchildren. I live on an acreage west of Bentley with my husband Mike. We love camping and travelling and spending time with family.

My passion is in the limitless possibilities I can have through the art and design of my work.
I am married to the love of my life and together we have one amazing daughter. I love art, volunteering and watching live sporting events!

Hey I’m Ryan! I have been around the beauty industry for my entire life . I was born in Ontario to a farmer and a hairdresser, whose father and grandfather were both barbers. So granted I was raised watching my mother perm and cut hair my entire life.
Over the years I have travelled and lived all over Canada , now I’m settled just outside of Bentley on a ranch with quarter horses. I’m a hard working, dedicated individual with a creative eye. Balayage and colour corrections get me going in the morning and excited for the day!
Altered images is an amazing salon where everyone can feel like they are home when they visit , come see what I mean ! I can’t wait to see you in my chair !!!!

Hey, I'm Chloe! I am a 4th generation Bentley girl. I absolutely loved growing up in such a small town. As a little girl, I always dreamed of working in Bentley and raising my own family here. It means so much to me to have the opportunity to grow my career in the town I love.
I decided I wanted to become a hairstylist when I watched my auntie transform her clients' hair. Seeing the smiles on their faces made me see how important a good hairstylist is. Ever since then, I have wanted to help people match their beauty on the outside to their beauty on the inside. I have been doing hair since I graduated from MC College in June of 2021. I look forward to learning everything I can and gaining more experience. Blondes are definitely a favorite of mine, especially doing a billion baby-highlights! I love doing men's cuts and I just adore solid colors as well!
I am extremely thrilled to be working with such amazing people at this charming salon. I can't wait to see all my beautiful clients in my chair and allow them to see how welcoming and friendly Altered Images Salon really is!
